I enjoy working relationally from a person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and social justice lens. I am dedicated to supporting the empowerment of my clients through collaboration throughout treatment. I enjoy supporting clients in recognizing their inherent strengths and inner wisdom and building from that wisdom and those strengths collaboratively with my clients. I believe providing compassion, open-heartedness, and non-judgment is core to the work I do with my clients.
I have experience working with various mental health challenges with adults and teens from diverse backgrounds. I work with individuals, couples/polycules/relationships, and groups. My clinical interests and training include working with individuals with PTSD, mood disorders, serious and persistent mental illness, personality disorders, transition-age youth, LGBTQ individuals, and trans and non-binary/gender-expansive individuals. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), psychodynamic, trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and LGBTQ-affirming approaches to therapy.
I am knowledgeable and have expertise working with issues related to BDSM/kink and polyamory/ENM and received sex educator certification training through San Francisco Sex Information.
My personal interests include spending time with my cats or in my garden, cooking/baking, music, reading, being in nature (especially the ocean), spirituality, and laughter.
